Radial sealing air filter
systems offer several advantages, but because of their unique design, they
also have some special service tips and procedures which should be
followed.
Mounting tip
#1
The cover of the air cleaner
housing must be reinstalled after the filter element is serviced. The
cover plays no part in sealing the element to the housing, but does
prevent the element from moving from its mounting tube.
Mounting tip
#2
The element should be fully
inserted onto the tube before the housing cover is replaced.
Do not use the latches of the
housing cover to force the air filter element onto the mounting tube.
Generally, dry lubricants such as baby powder or talcum powder, or
silicon’s are used if they are necessary for installation.
Construction
End caps:
Filter media is directly installed in a mould filled by POLYURETHANE
(PUR) to obtain perfect bonding thus a zero by-pass cartridge filter
Outer and Inner Screens: Hot-dip
Galvanized Perforated and or Expanded Steel to ensure a high mechanical
strength
Gaskets:
No extra part added as gasket
is part of the cap
Media: Filtration
is provided by high quality cellulose-based TURBOPAPER impregnated
with special resins to achieve high filtration standards, high dust
holding capacity and low initial pressure drop
Media stabilization:
Pleat lock stabilization (PLS system) to maintain uniform spacing between pleats as
standard
Inspection:
Individual inspection of each
filter prior to ship |
